Responsibilities:
The Veterans Agent works under the direction of Chapter 115 of the General Laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts which mandates the benefits due to qualified veterans and their dependents. The Veterans Agent assists veterans and their families with applications for financial and medical assistance, arranges transportation to VA facilities, provides housing assistance, and advises veterans of the resources of the community and benefit entitlements.
