Animal Control Services

All complaints involving animal issues should be directed to the Millville Police Department at (508) 883-3117. Members of the Millville Police Department are not trained as Animal Control Officers and do not have any special equipment for the handling of domestic or wild animals. Officers will respond to investigate reports of sick, injured or stray animals, however, their responsibility is limited to confirming the reported condition and referring it to the Animal Control Officer.

Millville Selective Traffic Enforcement Program

The Millville Police Department utilizes selective enforcement to address problem traffic areas of concern to the citizens within town. Our traffic enforcement resources are then deployed to those specific areas at specific times to address traffic concerns in those high incident areas.

We also rely on citizens input to assist us with targeting neighborhood streets and other major roadways that have traffic related issues that need to be addressed. Those issues may include: speeding vehicles, stop sign or red light violations, marked lane violations, overweight vehicles and an array of other traffic related issues.

The Police Department utilizes state of the art radar, both moving and stationary, and also lidar units to assist us with speeding vehicles. To request selective enforcement in your neighborhood, please email Chief William Coupe at bill.coupe@millvillepolice.org
