Municipal Vulnerability Preparedness

The Municipal Vulnerability Preparedness (MVP) program provides grant funding to support cities and towns in Massachusetts to plan for climate change resiliency and implementing priority projects. Millville received a state award to complete a vulnerability assessments and develop an action-oriented resiliency plan. Though the MVP program grant the Town is also concurrently updating its Hazard Mitigation Plan (HMP). The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) requires communities to develop and maintain a current HMP to be eligible for federal relief funding.
